InVEST
Greater Buffalo Works is the administrative agent for the Workforce Development Consortium for the InVEST Job Start program. InVEST (Individual Vocational Education & Skills Training) provides specialized, short-term training that will lead to immediate employment or promotion. Eligibility is based on gross income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
Among the 21 training programs, we offer Tractor-Trailer Driving, Air Conditioning/Regrigeration Technician, Industrial Welding, Cable Installation, Medical Biller and Computerized Office Practices.
