Welcome to The Buffalo and Erie County Workforce Development Consortium's (wdcinc.org) website. The WDC is the lead employment and training agency for the City of Buffalo and the County of Erie. This site will serve as a comprehensive roadmap to our workforce development services, tools and incentives.
The WDC offers an array of services to job seekers looking for employment and employers seeking job ready applicants. The WDC operates two one-stop employment and training centers. In addition, the WDC operates a comprehensive Welfare-to Work program and
youth programming.
The Buffalo Employment and Training Center (BETC) and The ECC Employment and Training Center provide Job seekers with a wide array of services intended to prepare the job seeker for work in the 21st century. Erie County residents looking for employment and training may also visit the
Department of Labor offices now serving also as
One-Stop employment and training centers. The Greater Buffalo Works program is dedicated to helping Erie County residents make the transition from welfare to work.
The Buffalo and Erie County Workforce Development Consortium, Inc. enhances the region's workforce and employers through education, training and business services.
