Erie County Industrial Development Agency (ECIDA)- Regional Development Corporation and Industrial Land Development Corporation - county-wide agency authorizes industrial revenue bonds for eligible industrial and commercial projects within county limits. Administers revolving loan fund for fixed-assets and working capital for business projects in specific county areas. Operates a public-private venture capital fund to invest in high-tech companies which have large growth potential. Works in conjunction with local area banks and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) on loan programs targeted at minority, women and/or start-up businesses. International program has available financial products to support export trade, including EXIM Bank and SBA financing. Licensed broker in New York State for export credit insurance.
