Empire State Development Corporation - The Empire State Development Corporation (ESD) is a state agency whose mission is to promote business investment and growth that leads to job creations and prosperous communities across New York State.

The ESD provides a variety of assistance that focus on helping businesses.  Whether the business be an international company looking to make a move or a small business owner seeking to access capital - ESD offers assistance.  The ESD offers loans, grants and tax credits, as well as other financing and technical assistance, to support businesses and encourage their growth in New York State.

Through the New York State Consolidated Funding Application (CFS), a single application for multiple sources of state funding, New York State is soliciting grant applications for funding to advance the priorities of the Regional Economic Development Councils (REDC).

The ESD can assist businesses in identifying and pursuing a broad range of grant and loan programs that are available.

ESD can also assist businesses with Tax Credit information, financing and technical assistance.

Erie County Industrial Development Agency (ECIDA)- The ECIDA is a public benefit corporation whose mission is to provide resources that encourage investment, innovation, growth and global competitiveness creating a successful business climate that improves the quality of life for the residents of the region.

The ECIDA is in business to grow business in Erie County by helping businesses be competitive and profitable.  The ECIDA can provide businesses with:

·         business incentives, tax exemptions and bonds

·         facility and brownfield development

·         financial assistance, loans and venture capital

·         international trade associations

·         referrals and resources

·         transportation, infrastructure financing

·         rapid response with tax exemptions, leases and tax abatements approved within 60 days of application and loans approved in an average of 30 days

·         assistance with projects from $5,000 to $500 million

·         coordination of services with other agencies offering economic development services

Small Business Development Center (SBDC) -
