These may include operation of "one stop" employment and training centers, vocational assessment, testing (for interests, aptitudes and basic skills), career counseling, mentoring, basic educational services, preparation for the General Equivalency Diploma (GED), pre-employment/job readiness skills training, work maturity/job retention skills training, job search training, job placement assistance, occupational training, school-to-work transition services, on-the-job training, work experience and internships.

These services are designed to relieve and reduce unemployment and underemployment in our community and improve the standard of living of all Buffalo and Erie County residents. They serve the purpose of improving the quality of life in our community through increasing employment, self-sufficient and economic stability in the community.
