Western New York Machining Training Survey
Level I
These are introductory courses designed to allow trainees hands on skill training in Job Planning and Management; Benchwork; Layout; Turning Operations; Milling Machine and Attachment Operations; Surface Grinding Operations; Drill Press & Power Saw Operations; Quality Control and Inspection; Process Adjustment and Control; General Maintenance; Industrial Safety & Environmental Protection; Career Management & Employee Relations; Bandsawing; Horizontal Boring Mill Operations, Grinding Operations; Radial Drill Operations; EDM Operations; CNC Mill and Lathe Operations.
Level II
These are intermediate courses requiring the completion of Level I course work. These courses are designed to allow students hands on skill training advancement in Job Planning and Management; Process Adjustment and Control; Manual Operations; Bandsawing; Turning Operations; Milling Machine and Attachment Operations; Horizontal Boring Mill Operations; Grinding Operations; Radial Drill Operations; EDM Operations; CNC Mill and Lathe Operations; Quality Control and Inspection.
Level III
These are advanced courses requiring appropriate Level I and Level II courses as a prerequisite. These course offer trainees advanced hands on skills training in Job Planning and Management; Manual Operations; Turning Operations; Milling Operations; Grinding Operations; CNC Programming and CNC Operations.
