The WDC is involved in various activities designed to increase the productivity of local businesses. It seeks to increase the involvement of the business community in planning, development and implementation of employment and training programs designed to create new employment opportunities in the private sector. These activities serve the purpose of improving the economic climate in the region to the betterment of all residents.
